FAQ - Can a Noritz heater be used with a solar preheat system?

Yes. It is best that the preheat system has a mixing valve to eliminate temperature fluctuations and insure that the water going into the Noritz heater does not exceed 120°F.

You can find plumbing diagrams regarding installation with a solar system on the Noritz website at http://www.noritz.com/professionals
